Ah, the end of the week

Well, yeah for Fridays. Today we had a big practice test for the CISSP and I did pretty well. I do need to work on few sections and read up before I take the test, but that’s going to be in a month anyway so I’ve got time. I don’t like the way that some of the questions are worded. They are really based on theory and not technical details. Things that make no sense in how you would do in real life are correct because of theoretical differences. Bleh. It’s like a much bigger Microsoft test.

Oh well.. on to better things. It’s raining and thundering here. Nice. I love weather like that. And my mom is in town and going to be here for a few days. So it looks like I’ll be doing some driving around and showing her places that we haven’t been to yet. Should be nice.

And finally.. I am digging the MBP (MacBook Pro). I enjoy working with it more and more every day. It got a great keyboard, a beautiful screen and it’s fast. I’m really looking forward to upgrading the RAM to 2 GB in a month or 2. That will be sweeeeeeet.

The movers will be here next week and then the world begins.
